Education Research Analyst
Corinne Alfeld is a Research Analyst in the National Center for Education Research (NCER) at the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences (IES). She is interested in studying ways to improve young people’s transition to adulthood by providing opportunities for learning in educational and work settings. Between 2002 and 2012, she coauthored studies on Math-in-CTE, Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), CTE Programs of Study, and Work-Based Learning for the National Research Center for Career and Technical Education (NRCCTE). At IES, she serves as a grant program officer for several topic areas, including CTE. Corinne received her master’s degree in developmental psychology from the George Washington University, and her Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Michigan.
