As participation in high school and college work-based learning experiences grows, state and national policymakers are left to consider their role in ensuring quality work-based learning. This session will examine how states can develop, implement and evaluate rigorous standards for work-based learning, drawing on lessons from Utah, the National Governors Association's work-based learning policy academy and Advance CTE's Connecting the Classroom to Careers series.
